Fetchmail ist ein Programm, welches Mails via POP3 oder IMAP abholen und dann per SMTP oder LMTP weiterleiten kann.

===== Migration =====

Neben der Installation auf dem Zielsystem müssen folgende Schritte unternommen:
  - Das Konfigurationsfile vom Quellsystem übernehmen (''/etc/fetchmailrc'')
  - Die Datenbank der bereits abgeholten Mails übernehmen (''/var/lib/fetchmail/.fetchids'')
  - Den Dienst neustarten
