Sobald ein KMS aktiviert wird, startet dieser automatisch den Stempelprozess für den SRV-Record. Trotzdem sollte man kontrollieren, ob dies auch funktioniert hat:

Sollte hier kein Eintrag mit dem Namen „_VLMCS“ erscheinen, kann der Prozess nochmals mittels folgendem Befehl gestartet werden:

slmgr.vbs /sdns

Aktivierung der Clients

Jede Installation (OEM, MAK) kann zu einer KMS-Installation konvertiert werden. Dafür muss der entsprechende KMS-Client-Key statt des OEM- oder MAK-Key hinterlegt werden.

Der Key für ein Betriebssystem wird wie folgt installiert:

slmgr.vbs /upk
slmgr.vbs /ipk KmsKey
slmgr.vbs /ato

Ein Office-Key wird so installiert:

ospp.vbs /dstatus
ospp.vbs /unpkey:value (Key aus /dstatus)
ospp.vbs /inpkey:KmsKey
ospp.vbs /act

Der Pfad zum Office-Skript: %installdir%\Programme (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office14 bzw. %installdir%\Programme\Microsoft Office\Office14
